Spyderco’s incredibly popular “CruCarta” series of knives combines the classic look of brown canvas Micarta® scales with CPM® CRU-WEAR® tool steel blades. A distinctive pairing of old-school, high-performance materials, it quickly became an instant classic. This remarkable version of the Para® 3 showcases this theme in impressive style. Its full-flat-ground, satin-finished blade capitalizes on CPM CRU-WEAR’s advanced alloy composition to deliver exceptional edge retention and toughness. The blade is housed in a handle featuring full, skeletonized stainless steel liners that form the foundation of the knife’s ultra-reliable Compression Lock® mechanism. The liners are capped with smooth, unpolished Micarta scales that will naturally patina with age and use to develop their own distinctive character. To ensure convenient carry and instant access, the handle also features a generously sized lanyard hole and a polished four-position hourglass clip that can be configured for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
