Stretch 2 XL Lightweight SPY27

Boasting a blade just shy of four inches, the Stretch 2 XL Lightweight offers impressive cutting performance in a package that weighs less than three ounces. For steel enthusiasts, this unique expression of it supercharges the design with a blade crafted from Spyderco’s proprietary CPM SPY27 particle metallurgy stainless steel. The full-flat-ground blade capitalizes on the properties of this American-made steel to deliver an outstanding balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. It is housed in a linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a cobalt blue color that is a signature of our distinctive SPY27 family of knives. The handle includes a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern, a stout back lock mechanism, and a four-position clip that is easily configurable for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.

After trying hundreds of knife designs across thousands of units, it's really hard to pick favorites... but... If I had to reduce down to one knife... this would be it! The linerless construction, great ergonomics, and high performance blade put together creates a package so compelling that I really have a hard time not carrying the Stretch 2 XL.
